Dave Conelias, CEO & Co-Founder Milestone C
Dave jumped into the education industry, running afterschool and summer camps, which evolved into being a full-time classroom teacher. Dave is a well-rounded STEM educator who loves sharing his experiences and teaching others. Before teaching, Dave worked in large and small engineering companies, holding various positions, including at the leadership level. His career has been cross-disciplinary in electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, systems, design, and manufacturing.
Josh Gilbert, CTO Milestone C
Josh was drawn to education through his participation in professional mentorship initiatives and his natural inclination to learn and teach continuously. Upon returning from a three-year international assignment, he joined Milestone C, which perfectly matched his aspirations of bringing real-world application to students. Leveraging his diverse skill set and 20 years of experience as a mission systems flight test engineer, Josh employs industry-based approaches to teaching and curriculum development.
Katie Saxon, STEAM Curriculum Consultant
With over 20+ years of experience in the classroom and increasing responsibilities as a Science Instructor, Katie is on a personal mission to continue to support school administrators and teachers in preparing students for their career choices in our fast-evolving 21st century.
Brian A. Boecherer, Olive Shade Higher Education Consulting
Brian is an experienced consultant for and past director of collegiate academic outreach programs to high schools. In addition, served as the Project Leader for the Women’s Persistence in STEM subcommittee at the University of Connecticut for 15 years and on the UConn UCSteminist Advisory Board for 10 years. Brian is skilled and knowledgeable in dual/concurrent enrollment, higher education, retention and graduation, secondary education, program enrichment, outreach and enrichment in Title I high schools, and institutional research and development.
